Our pedestal table has a stable base that allows for a sturdy top and ample leg room. The distinctive pedestal has design elements from Mission furniture that convey a sense of strength as well as clean lines. Attention is given to the crossed foot. Notice the bevelled and faceted surfaces.
The cherry pedestal contrasts with the top which is finished from two inch thick matched maple planks. The top has a cherry inlay along its outside perimeter. This table can be used as a kitchen or diningroom table where friends and family cook, eat, read, do homework. The table can be designed with an expanding base and extending eighteen inch leaves.
The wood will darken and glow with continued use, aging gracefully over the years. Different sizes are available. Our finish is boiled linseed oil and paste wax. Linseed oil provides protection and reveals the depth of grain in the wood with a lustrous gleam. The final coat of wax highlights and further protects the wood.
